Battery Size

    What size battery does everyone use with there :v6: ? I think mine is about ready for replacement and I think I can fot a bit more battery in there.

    Just wondering.

    Any idea on how many amps it can produce or the cold cranking amps? I've been running mine with a lawn mower battery. :D

    I run the Optima Red Top too. It's the Group 34/78, 800 CCA. I figured this should be big enough to run the winch too since I was too cheap to pop for a Yellow Top.;)

    I run the red top in my '98 4.0L Grand Cherokee. Big enough for that.

    I've had the same Optima Red Top for about 7 years. Works really well even with a good winch workout. These are tough (externally and internally) batteries. I like not having to deal with liquid acid.
