How much power is he putting on them? With my CJ5 with a locker i cant break the axle. And a geo has less power.

if the dana 27 brakes i have a set of ( do i dare say it ) toyota axles i could run or maybe a dana 30 but i would have to cut the knuckles and rotate them, its like any thing else run it till it breaks then upgrade them. i will get some pictures after i get some tube bent up and the axles in, jason.

im still here, just i work second shift at CAT as a welder, ya i think its going to be the toy axles i have them they wont cost any thing and i wont have to cut another jeep for axles ( i am still a jeep lover deep down ). i just found a good leed on a factory eletric locker for short change for the toy axles, so this might find its way into the front, im liking the idea of the removable thrid member.

i am going to use a saturn motor now it has a power steering pump insteed of riging up a HYDRO pump off the GEO, plus the saturn has all the disc brakes for me to retro fit onto the rear drive shaft some where and loose the drums on the rear toy axle.

if this thread needs to moved to another section of this board buy all means move it, i dont want to affend any one, i know this is a V-6 jeep forum not a buggy one thanks jason.

sounds good the power steering pump is a good way to go, im stuck like on the GEO no power steering pump so i have to rig my own and i found out i have no room so i have to rig a lawn mower motor in there now.
