ac fuel pump repair

removed = yes

installed = no , just looked and analysed

only one way = yes

where = in the body , where there are the shafts and hooks for the diaphragm

pictures = forgot my camera on my shop , so no pictures at this time

 

strange i know !!

my theory or explanation for this valve :

if oil is leaking by oil seal , it fills the body on the diaphragm side .

the valve are there to push the leaking oil in the mecanical side of the body


like that : it prevents overpressure the diaphragm , when the spring is fully compressed (a liquid is incompressible)

 

Double clamps, I hope? New tubing can bunch up as well. Does the tubing fit over the steel tightly by itself? If so, and no other leaks, it may be time to rebuild the vacuum wiper motors. They do go bad. There is not supposed to be any oil in either of the diaphragm housings. Forget about the pump needing to breathe. It doesn’t need to breathe. If there is oil in either chamber, the seal is no good.

my wipers are running , not very fast but running !!!! my wipers are very old et no water on the windshield

what is the right fuel level in glass cup on the top of the fuel pump ????

 

As long as the fuel level in the bowl is even with or just slightly above the brass screen you are good. The bowl is an air dome and needs some air to maintain pressure.

- french legislation for rear flasher and brake light , i add a hazard switch : complete creation (fuses , wire , rear lamp)
- finished revolver shackles rear and front : finalization
- 30mm brace for my direction = no more bump steer : definitely botl on
- electric fan with auto and manual mode : validated and all wires attached
- alternator form suzuki 413 : definitely botl on



almost ready for the french technical control to hit the road


later , the big , big ,very big piece will the body but the chassis is ok
