I got my taxes done last night I have dicided to invest my refund into my jeep project. I have enough for a set of tires and a 2.5 inch lift. I dont wont to buy or install them yet because I want to get used to driving a jeep before I started driving a lifted jeep on 33 inch tires . I figure Id wait till at lest after tellico. So I figured Id just take my time in buying one so maybe I can catch it at a better price.Well that bought up the question of what brand am I looking for . I dont real care how it rides , I dont care if it sqeaks my jeep is mainy being built for off road I might drive it to work or town once a week or so . When I lift it I plan on doing a shakle rev while Im on the suspention part of my project which really has no effect on lift but is worth mentioning . I read some post using the search that said BDS was the way to go but never read why . So what brand lift would yall go with if you had to do it again and why. Thanks In Advance

Go with BDS. Lifetime guarantee, no questions asked.
    Good flex, doesn't sag.
Before you buy, call Bob Supplee, ask him to give you a price on a BDS 2.5" lift kit for your rig. His prices are hard to beat; just ask Billy :)

Ask him about kits for the shackle reversal too.

Sorry don't have input on the lift, but I've got a suggestion for tires. When I was shopping for some for my Explorer I came across www.1010tires.com. This site lets you look up all sorts of tires, just about anything out there really, and see how other people have rated them. Really good for getting a lot of different oppinions on the tires. That's how I found the set I settled on, and I have not regretted it one bit! I'm running Bridgestone Dueler AT/Revo's, great tire but I think they only go up to 31. Just my $0.02.

$.02 more: I've got a 2.5 Superlift in the Rooster and I like it but it is stiff. It's good for the Florida trails, but I don't know how it would do in rocks.

...'cause the rated lift amount is that much over stock springs at "normal" height, but you're probably replacing springs that are already sagging.

For what its worth I like Rough Country.
I have Pro Comps now but I will replace them with R/C as soon as I can swing it.
