Probably not what you want to hear, but spend $80 for a universal bearing seal driver set. You'll find it indispensable for everything. I used my seal driver and hammered it home with a piece of pipe thru the axle tube.

When installing inner seals, I didn't have a seal driver so what I did is use a piece of 5/8" all thread slightly longer than the width of the carrier to make one. I threaded two nuts onto the all thread and two larger washers. I then inserted the assembly into the carrier so that the large washers rode against the carrier on one side and the seal on the other. I then turned the nuts with a wrench to press the seal into place. I did one side first then the other.

Impact socket that fits the seal nicely without touching the rubber part, a long enough 1/2 inch drive extension and a BFH.

The Harbor Freight one works great if you have a LONG driver and a buddy to tap the seal in. I bought a front seal installer years ago, and it has proven invaluable considering the number of times I've used it. But the all-thread tool works great also.
