    Good morning all,
i was about to buy some new bushings as mine seem almost gone causing some of the steering issues i have, but i noticed that none of the bushings have a shoulder on them. so when you tighten down the shackles, the shackles would hit the springs. is this right?
    for the 1975 cj5, i show these.

however, i dont like the idea of the shackles hitting the springs like that. has anybody put on normal bushings like these? if so what did you use?

The top picture looks normal to me.

The entire bushing is a little longer than the spring is wide. They'll be fine.

I have the energy suspensions. Unless you way overtighten them, they would just fine. Shackles dont rub hangers.
