Looks like you may have a bit of welding to do.
It looks like you have a nice 3B as well.
    That other Jeep, Meh....JK.
Are you on the CJ3B site as well? One of the pictures looks familiar.
Anyway, welcome, I hope we can help you.

A lot of welding is an understatement, :) i don't think there's a panel that doesn't need repair on this thing :( Frame seems OK though, couple cracks near the right front frame horn, and the rear cross member needs to be replaced. Pretty minor all in all.

Yup, that's my Heap on the CJ3B page, It's a " good from far, Far from good " rebuild , but i feel pretty good about it considering what i started with. I'f the Six turns out at about the same level i'll be happy. i started with less with the B, and i with a lot of luck i got it on the road.

The TJ's my daily driver , i bought it off a friend, its been rolled pretty hard, needed a fair amount of frame work. Its only got 150k on it and gets way better mileage than my truck :) .

Not much to report, had to build a franken starter to check compression on the f-head that is going in the 6. 90-90-0-30 :(
Probably valves on the dead hole, might be stuck rings on the low ones. I'm going to pick up a jug of kerosene and let them soak for while to see if that helps.

Tossed a bit of oil in the cylinders, got 120-120-0-125.. stuck rings and a exhaust valve? pulled the valve cover, intake valve seems to move as normal. I'll scrape some more crud of the motor and pull the side cover to see if the exhaust valve is moving.
Did pull the motor/tranny/tcase from the frame, figured out the t90 bell housing indexes on the t98a front bearing retainer, no need for a machined adapter plate, should be able to do something up cheap. i like cheap.

Managed to find a chunk of 3/4 at work, have to add a 1/8 spacer to make up the 7/8th factory length. bribed a welder with some Cuban cigars to hack i out for me :)

had to buy some flat head cap screws ( 7/16 nc ) cost $5, got a couple extra to throw in the bolt bucket.
not sure if it will be necessary to add the spacer, pilot bushing appears to be in the flywheel , not the crank. Kinda strange actually. i'll take better measurements on reassembly
