Decided I was tired of unzipping the BestTop every time I parked, to run an extension cord inside for power (heater for keeping moisture out, battery tender and block heater). So I installed a "shore power" plug-in...

All I do now is plug in to this external outlet, and everything else is wired nicely inside! No more zipping and unsnapping of the canvas, or wrastling of extension cords through the cab. Very pleased with how clean it all turned out.

In addition, I've always had an electrical "leak" somewhere. My guess is the ignition switch, which I'll replace soon. But in the meantime, I've always had to unhook both leads from the battery when it's parked. I honestly drive everywhere with a 1/2" wrench just for this task. Also, it's the best way I know of to keep my rig from disappearing. All that being said, I installed a marine grade battery select switch that's made my life much more simple.

It has the typical "on" and "off" selections, but also has the ability for a 2nd battery to be selected, or a combination of the two. Pretty nifty.

Cool Very clean looking jeep. If that jeep was mine I wouldn't stop until I found the drain. That would bother me to no end. Just me I guess.

No, me too. There's so much on my plate that it'll just be in line with the other problems/items.

Just a collapsible snow shovel. Aluminum. I've got an E-tool inside the toolbox for real digging
