Can anyone tell me what size is the nut to remove the steering wheel on a 65 cj5? Thanks a lot!

I have a 57 CJ5 with the stock Ross steering (is it the same Ross setup in a 65?) I just took that nut off last night. it was 1 1/4. I found plenty of information on removing that steering wheel which you'll find with a quick search as well...be easy on the threads, and if you're pulling it the best advice I got was to leave the nut on a couple of turns so you don't smack yourself in the face.

    Hopefully, this helps! Good luck!

I have a really big Crescent wrench I use for removing that nut.

Used to be my Dad's. No idea where he got it from.
