So I've done quite a bit of looking lately and it would seem that the answer to this question is, simply make your own. But, since I lack welding skills, I'll ask if anyone knows of a company that makes and sells tube fenders for an early CJ5. (mine's a 62)
Seems like most of them only make the tubes for the post 73 CJ's. So, last ditch effort to see if anyone knows something I can't seem to find. Thanks in advance.

Depending on what you want, I have made some in the past for others.

I saw yours and it made me drool a little bit. Sadly though, I have little to no fabrication abilities when it comes to welding. It's really something I've thought would be a big help to me to know how to do.. but just haven't gotten there yet.

Its all good. They were very inspirational and right in line to what I was hoping to do. Besides, a little drool never hurt anyone.

Since he lives a couple blocks from me, I'm gonna help him learn the art of fabrication... I like the look with the Dimple die, and may ping you for the pics that are missing if that's a direction he wants to go in.

Mine in the past used a 1" Square instead of the round tube, but I like that as an option too.

I actually really like the look you did here, and this is kinda the direction I'm hoping to go in with Warloch's help. And yeah, definitely need to learn to weld, as I said, its something I've always wanted to learn just haven't gotten there yet.

it was function before looks for me , my tires killed the stock fenders and rocks always bent the curved part of the stock 5 fenders. The new angle to my fenders allows me to stuff the rig into spots that would have smashed the stockers ,,,,my rear tub is also slightly dove tailed to keep it out of the rocks .

As far as the trails I've taken my jeeps on, I've never put it in a situation where the articulation rubbed the fenders and crunched things. Maybe I'll get to a point where that becomes a scenario for me, but I doubt it. I'm more into water crossings, mud holes and straight exploration. The fenders I've on the Jeep now are a bit bashed up and I tried to smooth them out with bondo and have just never really been happy with them. That's the main reason I'm looking for a change.

Ha! I bet! In truth, that's why I bought my CJ.. Was tired of beating up my tj.. After running through replacing a ton of censors on it.. I figured its be more fun to have a toy I don't have to worry about driving to work on Monday if I break.
