Am looking to buy a tow bar for my CJ5 that will flip up when not in use so I don't have to disconnect. Any help?

Easy enough for a welding shop to make. I needed one in a hurry yesterday and it took less than two hours, using junk in my scrap pile.

Longer will allow for better towing manners.

I put mine on quick release pins. Takes me literally one minute to remove it.

I have one that I purchased from Harborfreight. http://www.harborfreight.com/catalogsearch/result?q=tow+bar

When using a tow bar, it is advisable and required by many states to also have safety chains attached in case the tow bar disconnects for some reason. The HF towbar has loops on each arm to attach the safety chains to. The tow bar has pins to disconnect from the vehicle and it folds flat. I fold it and throw it in the back of the jeep when it is not in use. Takes about a minute to re-install on the vehicle when I want to use it.

Diggerjeep, will your tow bar flip up against the grill so you can drive with it?

This is the one I bought and have no complaints. I bolted a stainless u bolt to it near the coupler and made a cable with spring and clip to keep it up while driving down the road clipped to the footman loop in center of my hood. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0007LVGJ6

Looking at my own pictures it looks like my chains are dangling on the ground with them stored upright but actually I have about 1 foot between the dangling chains and the ground.
