Has anyone built rock rails for their flatfender. I am looking for construction ideas or a supplier. All pictures appreciated

You can use just about anything for a CJ 5 with a little rework but probably just as easy to make something. This is what I put on the 3B-wanted something not too obnoxious. They are bolted (flat head allens) through to a 1.5" square tube structure under the tub which is in turn bolted to the frame. I end up hitting my exhaust skids before I get to the tub so they really haven't been load tested.....

I assume the side plates are angle iron and the 1.5 " tubing acts as a spacer for the pinch seam.

AWESOME job on the exhaust protectors. My exhausts, V-6 with side dumps are in the same location. Want to build another set?

In that application, the floor is actually recessed another 1.5" into the tub (glass) so there is nearly an inch and a half of pinch seam, and some of the 1.5" square tube bridges both frame rails (seat brackets bolted through to those also). And no, I really wouldn't want to build another set of the exhaust skids-takes forever to drill all those holes-even with a mill. Just coming up with a decent plan took awhile.

    Those hangers are super cool.
If you dont want to build any more, would you want to share the plans?

It's a project I hope to get to this winter as well. I'm going to steal some ideas from Duffer and put some of my spin on them for the SupperTraps I run. I have 2 rigs to put them on so they have to be repeatable :)
