Ive been cruising the wiring threads for a bit on here. Does anyone have handy a diagram of what wire goes where on a stock 69 CJ 225 headlight switch? Also what color wires are for what on the turn signal assembly wiring. Any and all help is appreciated.

Good luck with that...I was fortunate enough to have had the PO buy a brand new Painless fuse block, but every wire I've tried to trace from it has had two or three different color wires spliced between it & the switch it goes to...I've finally got my stop, turn, brake lights working properly but only after I replaced the turn signal switch...none of my wires color codes were right...I'm still having problems with my headlight switch though...some times, I can turn them on & everything goes smooth...some times, I go to turn them on & my radio cuts off for a few seconds...and sometimes, I blow a fuse...It's probably just a bad switch & I'll replace it before I rewire everything "inside".... In my experience, most of the problems you'll find with wiring happens inside the dash & very few problems occur outside of the passenger compartment...why this is, I have no idea other than it may seem a less intimidating or an "easier"source of "power" for aftermarket accessories than the source itself...

There is a post on this forum where a member bought a new light switch that would sometimes short out internally when pull all the way out. He was able to fix it after opening it up and seeing the problem.

I know at one time I had bought a brand new Headlight switch for a Bronco, it was faulty and caused me MANY headaches before I figured out the problem.
I had hoped somebody would have a diagram of a CJ headlight switch, wire colors not neccesary, just what does what etc.

Look at the diagram in your post "solenoid on starter" showing the head-light switch. That shows you what goes where.

When you pull the switch to the first notch, it turns on the front/rear park lights only. Second notch turns off front park lights and turns on head-lights/dash lights/rear tail lights.
