We just got a 68 cj5, this one was not sitting for 10+ years, it runs and has a bunch of the things we were looking to add. Going to rebuild the carb this weekend so we can take it out and play before ripping it down to the frame.

The folks that we got it from were very nice and gave us a great deal. We want to do right by them, they owned the cj since 73 and it was rather sentimental, they have 5 other jeeps that run unlike our two!

Removed wire harness off of motor, removed headers, looks like new ones will be in order. I ahve been picking up parts all winter waiting for it to get warm, so far I have:

78 cj gas tank kit from morris
new bushing kit for entire cj
    stainless hardware kit
full rear floor with riser and rear panel
    replacement factory wire harness
    R&P front disk break kit
    front floor panels
    2 - 3' x 8' sheets of 18ga steel for the sides
    por15 and prep for frame
selfetching primer/fiber glass/bondo and a ton of sand paper.

Frame after repairs by a good friend who welds for a living I can stick two pices of metal together but he can weld Thanks Scott, all fractured steel removed and replaced with 3/16 plate steel and flat stock, spring mounts were removed and welded back into their original locations. W for future power steering pump mount.
