At first, I thought the rear seat might have been similar to this 'tux seat, since it doesn't appear to bolt to the floor (and might have just had the frame welded in):

But, I'm still learning, and am more than likely wrong...

Well, it looks like this thread has come to an end. I picked up a '46 CJ2A recently, and with only so much room in the garage, the '65 had to go. I sold it this evening (only lasted 5 hours on CL!) to a young guy headed shortly to MCRD San Diego, and he was grinning ear to ear while driving it away. He was going to have his buddy follow him home, and as he hopped into the Jeep to leave (and just as I was going into the house), I overheard him asking asking his buddy, "Hey, which one of these pedals is which again?" LOL...well, he's got 15 miles of surface streets between my house and his to figure it out...lol.

I've told him about this place, so I guess we'll see. He has big plans (don't we all?) and wants to drop the V8 from his 93 Camaro in it. I told him all the particulars about the engine, tranny, etc. and told him that if/when he decides to swap out original parts for the go-faster stuff, to make sure and keep all the take-offs and post them up either here or eBay. I told him that one man's junk is another man's treasure. You should have seen the look on his face when I explained what the oil bath filter was for and how it's serviced...lol. Plus all the usual questions like, "where's the fuse box?, where do I add the power steering fluid?" and all that...lol.
