    I am trying to restore the transfer case parking brake on my 62 CJ5 back to original, working condition. Currently the only things I have are the brake on the transfer case along with the lever that extends out that engages the brake (and I think the clevis attaches to that lever.) I know that the brake is supposed to end up in a ratcheting bracket and a cane handle under the dash on the driver's side. The hole is still there for the bracket to mount to and fit through the firewall, but I don't know what I'm missing in between there and the transfer case and where it is supposed to be routed.

    If anyone has a picture or diagram of how the transfer case emergency brake was routed and what kind of clips and pieces I need to complete the job, it would be greatly appreciated.

    I parted out a 63 CJ5 a couple of weeks ago and it still had the bracket in it, so that one less part I need but everything between the bracket and the transfer case brake was missing there, too.

    Thanks!

    Thank you, thank you, thank you!

    Did you get your parts from Kaiser Willys? They seem to have the best selection of parts I've seen so far, but I didn't know everything I was missing until now.

    Herm carries the drum and internals. The shoes need to be matched to the drum. Most aftermarket shoes
    won't work. BTDT.

    About 3/4 of the way down the page the parts are listed.

    Hi all;
    I need some help and Id really like to see a couple of pictures. First, does anyone have a picture of the clamp that holds the parking brake cable to the TC support (#15 in the diagram) and second, the return spring assembly that pulls the hand brake operating lever back after the hand brake has been released. I have a new cable from Herm but it doesn't have the clamp. Interestingly, none of the parts jeeps Ive got have that part. Of course, none of them have their hand brake intact either.
    Thanks in advance.
