75 Cj, Emissions canister question.

    I am installing new flat fenders on my 75 CJ5. The carbon canister is right in the way as the inner fender will be moved back.. I may have room to relocate it, but if not how do I eliminate it? Or should I ?

    I would keep it, I think it's important to give your fuel vapor a place to go, especially in summer when it warms and expands...I assume it gets warm in Wyoming occasionally.

    Should be room for it under the battery. I would keep it if it's not broken. I assume you still have the factory air cleaner - it needs the snorkel connection on the air cleaner to work.

    Ditto - Having just replaced mine to keep the fumes down, I would relocate it.
