Tired of searching and I have too many questions right now anyway - lost all of my prior photos. On my 73 CJ6 I just reinstalled my freshly rebuilt 304 and swapped my stock intake with the Edelbrock performer and I have several questions about where to hook up and route lines, sensors, etc.

I'd greatly appreciate it if anyone would take a few pics from the front and top of the engine and post for me; preferably without any breather/air filter. Thanks for any help!

If you go to edelbrock. com they have diagrams of the different parts and how they attach. I have it someplace but I can't find it. I think I have it saved as a word document. I tired to upload it to photobucket but no love there. I'd post picts but mine has noting plumbed, I just have a layout on paper when I get to that part.

I found it. It's a word document and I can't post it here (too large) and I can't link it. But I can email it too you if that will help..........

Here is the link to edelbrock........http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive_new/misc/tech_center/install/2000/2131.pdf

TheI link worked and it answered some questions, but I'd appreciate the word doc too if it's more than what I found at the link. Let me know if you can't send it to my inbox here and I'll give you my email.

At the same time, if anyone has pics I'd still love to see them!

Definitely, if you don't mind taking one showing the front of the engine to compare some of the mounting brackets for the p/s pump and alternator and the hard fuel line routing from the pump to the carb that would be a big help too - no rush at all. (I know I'm asking a lot!) I might bug you in the future again; this is my first complete frame off build and I screwed up taking it apart and not properly documenting everything; or at least securing what I did document. On top of that, I'm not putting all original back in and that's where I'm running into most of my issues. I never claimed to be much of a mechanic and now I'm finding out I was correct - thanks for your help!

By the way, I used to travel to your neck of the woods a lot - used to live in Orange Park back in the early 90's.

Well, if you ever get back, we can have a beer. As far as picts, the jeep is not mine. Mine is in process. I can take picts of mine but nothing is hooked up. I think I know where it all goes and I can draw on the picts, or if there is something specific you need, I can get it. Next time I see the other jeep, I'll get the picts for you....

Sounds like a plan - thanks! It'll be a little while before I get more time to work on it anyway, so no hurry. Still waiting on some more funds to come my way - hopefully taxes will help and not hurt! Meanwhile I've been working on the fuel lines and brake lines and anything else I already have and don't need to spend more on. I'll check this thread now and again.
