I finish installing the Dana 27 today. For some reason the engine is not running good now and shuts off so I'm thinking I have to bleed the breaks for the engine to work corectly again. Ill post pics tomorrow.

No connection between the brakes and the engine running or not...
Did you ever check the points condition and dwell?

I decided to get a pertronix system on Monday and installed it today. Wow! The jeep fires right up and drives a bit better. I also got some 1.25" wheel spacer to get a better stance. Now I just have to get the timing and wheel alignment right so that I can go do some light wheeling. Next up will be power steering and disc brake conversion.

Thanks! That's the plan. I really need to work on getting the brakes adjusted or doing the disc break conversion because the 9" drums are just not cutting it. The manual steering isn't as bad as I thought it was going to be so I don't think it'll be to bad if I just get the brakes working right and then to the Rubicon. :)

^ Thanks guys! I thought it would be done by now but I ran into a problem... The bleeder screws on the caliper where rounded(I got the calipers from the salvage yard) and haven't had any luck getting them off. I've been soaking them with PB and using vice grips but the bleeder looks even more mangled... I might have to replace the caliper.:(
