Half-cab price

    Hey all,

Since revealing that I'm planning on ditching the half-cab on my Jeep, I've had a couple people asking to ditch it in their direction, so to speak. ;) But to be honest, I'm not really sure what it's worth. I'm not looking to make a fortune here or shoot for top dollar, but it would be nice to have some idea of what it's worth. Any suggestions? It's in pretty decent shape, some surface rust obviously but from what I've seen it's not rotted anywhere. Doors are good, windows roll down, all that jazz. I'll take WAG's, SWAG's, and plain-jane BS if you don't know. :D Just tell me somethin!

Sell it to a friend, say $100 or $150.
Sell it on ebay, maybe $300 or $400.
They were about $500 new as I recall.

Do you suppose this could be shipped?
I'd sure like to have one to make a pickup out of my CJ-6.
What year jeep is it on?

The hard half cabs I've had can be disassembled - they are held togther by some little bolts, some caulk, and in most cases a little rust :<)

I'm sure it could - anything can be shipped with enough $$$! ;) Once I get it out I'll have a better idea on shipping cost, I can weigh it and figure out approx. package dimensions.

It's on a '67 CJ5 right now. It's pretty well spoken for at the moment, but if what I have lined up doesn't work out, I have you on the list.

Re: Half-cab keep me in mind

    Hey Brian

I have exactly the same '67 CJ5 with a half cab color red, a little rough though

if the fist two prospects don't pan out give me a shot at it, I'm in Mich
    often and could pick-up.
