just got a 73...need some help

    thats it...its a work in progress. 258, 4.56 linoln locked front and rear (for now), t14/d20, d30/d44, 33's but the spare is flat, 4" skyjacker sl/1.5" bl, not in too bad shape. first thing is i have disintigrated my front passenger wheel bearing and hub...i barely made it off the interstate and got stopped...(had to clean the seat after that). would it be a good idea to upgrade to a d44 or just beef the d30 a bit. i want to run 35's, and i do moderate to rough wheeling (not the first time i had a wheel almost come off, just not on the hiway). i have heard both ways so i am at a loss. next is a loose rear cross member, i should have noticed it b4 i bought it but ummm oops... it leans bad when i turn, i dont think its the locker, and it goes left/right when i accel/decel. so i think the c member is the culprit. the rear springs seem to sag a bit too. i want power brakes but not sure my best option. i have everything except an alternator relocation bracket for pwr steering. not to mention the birds nest under the dash/hood that suplies electricity. i need all the help i can get...i had a comanche but this is my first real jeep.

    Saggy springs are common. If it were mine, I'd get rid of the welded diffs first.

    You may want to swap in an YJ power booster.

    I'd be surprised if your Skyjacker springs were sagging, unless they're very old. Skyjacker might replace them if they're not too old. Maybe different shocks would help? Of course, unwelding the differentials would do wonders, too. Nice looking Jeep! Greetings from Florida.

    thanks for the info...the diffs are definately up there on my replace list, but i need to get the front axle fixed first...then the rear diff. how can i tell if it is saggy springs or weight ditribution, the rear interior body is 1/4 steel. i was thinking of using a longer shackle to compensate, not sure though.
