Can you help me ID this trailer. it is a lot like a M-100 but with a number of differences. It seems to be all original. Not and never has been a floater, Jeep wheels, odd stake pockets, jack and hitch seem original, as is tail gate, brake is a lot like military. Maybe a Spen??... are all the wheels like the one shown with no slots between the wheel center and the rim? What is the tire diameter, and if you can figure out the rim width? The rims might be pretty rare if they are what I think they are...

Looks like maybe a m-100 with a remade sides floor etc. It's an odd one. Cool find. Solid rims, hand brake, front frame rails, and fenders all looks stock M-100 or Bantam t-3.

I will measure the width, but they look the same as standard early CJ wheels. If this is a Reman it is the most professional I have seen. All welds are really good, no junk. Fenders are installed with some type of metal welt between fender and trailer side. I sanded off a little on a wheel and found an orange color, but couldn't determine body color. Thanks for the input. Oh yeah, no evidence of a number or old data plate on it anywhere either.

Wheels are 5" wide X 16", 5 on 5 1/2" pattern. I didn't mention before but the bed rails are squared rather than round as on Military type trailers.

Its not a Spen or M-100. I've seen this type trailer before but not sure of the name.

The solid wheels would fetch a premium price for someone restoring an early CJ2A.

A friend looked at it that has been into 2A's for many years and told me the same thing about the wheels. Let's just say I gave about half for the trailer what he said one of the wheels would bring. Too bad the spare isn't the same as the rolling stock. The trailer looks enough like a M-100 for me to use it behind my M38-A1 and not have to cut up a good 100 to put in a working taigate. I already have a couple of m-416 but I dont think they look right with the 55.

But some round fenders on one and they are nearly the same as the M-100s.
