Who wants hazard indicator

I would think that unless there is enough interest and he can make all 3 the original green, we would want the hazard to match the blue 76+ lights and wiper indicators you see at any jeep store....just my 2 cents.

If they're accurate, I'd buy at least one of the hazards for my '75 CJ5 restoration, and possibly a whole set if they were made available.

I know it might not be very practical (and please don't distract from the topic if anyone wishes to elaborate on my comment - PM me, or something), but it would be nice if individuals would make these pieces we can't get for our older Jeeps anymore. There's currently a thread on here about the plastic, below-dash heater/climate control assembly - couldn't a company be contracted with to mold those? It would, no doubt, help a lot of people. JM2CW.

 

Ok just wanted to give a update Nick said hes been busy and will try and have the prints by the end of the week and get with me on the process for having them printed so be patient. Soon as i have more info i will update again

Ok so I just submitted the Jpeg Nick emailed me yesterday and already spoke with the print company and the lady said she would get back with me this afternoon with a price and how long it should take and payment so we are close. Nick also informed me to make them the color you want I will need to buy colored transparencies from office depot, that’s how he made the colors he wanted. So basically what I will do is cut the lens and send the lens with the colors for which everyone would want. He said for blue it would be 3 greens a blue and a purple to make it look like the new ones or for green it would be 3 greens or if you wanted it red 3 reds, so when I get them in I will get everyone to email me to get all the details worked out sound good to everyone.

If I understand correctly, the print company will print the words on the transparencies. We would receive the printed transparency only and would have to use an existing/new dash light to put it on? Or will this be a completed assembly?

 

So, we will be able to get the color we want? I prefer blue to match the other aftermarket ones you can get.

Correct I will be sending out just the lens and colored transparencies needed for what color you decide you want and the light will be up to you. The photo company said they should have it ready by next week and I will pick up the colors this weekend and some stamps and figure up the cost for each it shouldn't be anymore than 3-4 dollars for a setup. I will do just like he did and pm everyone when I have everything together for your address and send them out US mail sound good to everyone

Sounds great to me! Sorry if this has already been covered - are you only doing hazard light lenses, or whole sets?

 

Yes just the lenses with transparencies per what color you want, so you will need to use your old lamp housing our buy a new one. I am doing this to keep cost down and time because it has taken 2 weeks already just to get this going. The lenses will be cut to size along with the colored transparencies so all that will be needed is to be mounted in place. I will set up payment through paypal once i get everything purchased this weekend and the shipping cost on the prints from the company, but as stated it shouldnt be anymore than 4 bucks per lens and thats shipped.

Ok just got the lenses in yesterday and will start working on getting them cut this weekend, so everyone who wants one please PM me with your address and how many and what color and i will reply with my paypal info once i have them ready to go. They will be $4 dollars each and that includes the lens, colored transparencies and shipping. I will try and get one cut tonight and post a pic of the outcome on these so everyone can see what they are getting.
