After two years of woking on this restoration it's finally done. So I thought I would share a few pictures with those that are interested.

I used the duplicolor hampstead green to paint the engine. From what I hear it is no longer available and that's a shame because it was a very close match.

I had tried a similar paint, not the duplicolor brand but the same color code. I found it had zero tolerance for fuel spills, it would peel right off.
I ended up going with Detroit Diesel Alpine green in Duplicolor engine enamel.

I got the paint from TCP Global off of the autocolorlibrary website. Very reasonable prices and excellent paint to work with.

I like that you have the OE parts on there; tire carrier, tail lights, wheels, dash components, dash pad, heater, hubs, front bumper, etc. If you didn't have all that suff usuable, it took a while to amass, I know, it took me forever.....and I don't even have a Ren I one

The only things it was really missing was the sun visors, dash pad, back seat and tire carrier. It took over a year to come up with trhe tire carrier. I did learn that when you start looking for missing parts you have to be persistent or you'll never find them. But somewhere someoneone has what your looking for you just have to keep looking.
