A couple of hours from me is a show cave that offers tours in trailers towed by Jeeps (currently using YJs). 25 or so years ago I was in an auto museum in Branson and saw a restored flatfender that had once served (possibly the first one) as a tour Jeep at Fantastic Caverns. I just looked for it in the inventory of the museum and apparently it is no longer in there. I think I have an old snapshot of it somewhere. Today my mom was surfing genealogy site and found this article about the cave and the first Jeep tours:

Yep - that is a neat tour. If you're ever in southern MO, take the side trip and it won't take very long. The Jeeps don't have roll bars, because of overhead clearance issues with the rock!

I grew up just down the road. Took a tour through there when I was a kid, I think they were using CJ7's at that time.
