Sounds like another great idea! Is that what it means to get "Boyinked"????

Since my windshield frame is the only nice Jeep part I own, I'll gladly send you some pics of mine when I get home...

Here are pics of my two. The red one is from the '69 with the thinner frame/bottom mounted wipers. The other is from my '68 with the thicker frame/bottom mounted wipers. The '68 did have a Kelley Hardtop (I only have the doors). I tried to add a straight edge so you can compare angles, though I couldn't get equal distances away for the pics. My attachment library is full so I loaded them into my webshots here:

    1968 Windshield

    Thanks,

    Jim

I had a bass turd frame in my 69. Bottom mount wipers with the small glass. My new frame has the taller glass which meant a new windshield, but boy that added visibility is nice. I can actually see traffic lights now when I'm at the front of the intersection.

With my new frame though, I had a heck of a time getting the proper angle for the tiger top. I had to angle mill my AA windshield brackets to obtain the correct angle. I also had to add extra weatherstripping along the rail that the frame weatherstripping seals on, due to such a large gap. Did I ever mention how disappointed I was with the frame from JC Whitney :?
