Centerforce Clutch ISSUES!!!!!!!!!!!!

Discussion in 'Early CJ5 and CJ6 Tech' started by DanStew, Sep 14, 2004.

  1. Dan, I agree. And I have a Centerforce set up and am totally happy with it, but I have a stock 225 set up.

I'd try to call them frist though and see what they say. Just out of curriosty.

Only reason i am not taking it back or sending it back is that it is not a "set" they state that all their parts are macthed for each other so if i try to get money back they are going to say, oh of course it is not going to work because it is not made for each other. So since i used it, they cant resell it. :( Actaully i am not that upset to take the weights off and have a stock setup. eck i would ahve to buy a "kit" to get the 225 stock pressure plate because everyone sells the parts as kits and not individually. Heck if taking the weights off for some reason not fix the problem i can put the weights back on and sell the PP to somebody that could use it, then get the stock kit. :( I understand though what you are saying guys, but right now i am so fed up i just want the jeep to work, i am willing to take the loss. This isnt going to hurt as bad, like if i kept that $180 master cylinder ;)

I think we need to start a poll to see who has R&R'd a tranny the most times in one day. I've done three times out and in. I did mine with the Xfer case attached.
