That is a great looking Jeep, not normally a fan of red but wow yours looks great. I couldn’t ever have paint that nice I’d be afraid to do Jeep stuff if it were that nice.

Yeah... She's not a Rock Crawler , But she could......;) Anyway , 'Rosie' has been in our distant family since she was born in Nevada She was rebuilt well , at 52,000 miles & they stored and showed her, for the last 18 years. Now I have her. She goes on the beach and trails around Lake Ontario. I'll post some more of her in the great outdoors, later in august when we vacation

Oh, by the way, she goes 0 to 60. in 7 seconds 'cuz she's got a Buick Turbo V6 GN motor paired to a 700R4 speed Auto with overdrive. But Alas, our CJ's were not meant to go 90 MPH ! Rest assured , she will retire with me , for the rest of my Time, Fishing & trail viewing into the sunset.

That’s cool that it’s been in the family that long, can’t put a price on that kind of history.

Well, then again, Christian Hazel used to frequent our midst here. Not sure where's he's at in the offroad publishing world these days.

    It's a 1984 Buick Turbo V6 SFI, 700R4 Auto w/ Overdrive , out of a Buick GN. They call the '84 & '85 " Hot Airs ". The '86 & '87's were intercooled, completely different animals. My '84 was stock at 200 hp (203 PS; 149 kW) at 4400 rpm and 300 lb⋅ft (407 N⋅m) of torque at 2400 rpm. She'll do 0 to 60 in 7 to 8 seconds.

Hey Brother Ryan..... How's Bizness ? I was just able to read your epic tale of your adventure in driving your other jeep from your Mom & Dads to Post Falls. Your flatty is your workhorse. I used to plow snow in my '68 CJ5, but to tell you the truth , I got weary of shifting and plowing the shorter driveways round here !
Anyway ,Can you show us pics of the one you drove cross - country ? That would be cool...Thanks
