i took it for it's 1st real jeep trail drive yesterday.
about 3 miles up it was squirting oil all over.
so i stopped and took a peek.
the line that runs from the block to the oil pressure gauge had broken.
i stuck a screw in it and j.b. welded it on there and drove it home.
    kinda anticlimactic huh?

i put it in 4 low and coasted down the mountain to the trailhead.
that way i didnt have to use the brakes all the way.

Now, don't be using that spare for "accidentally" bumping bicyclists off the road! And what trail did you take the Ol' Slug on? Making it bleed on its first trail ride, shame on you!

total 1/2 cab cost $360 minus the door seals.
i still have to clean the rollup windows and bolt it on.
    then install a new heater.
and i will be good for winter.

If you could get me the tire size, I'd really appreciate it.
