Anyone know where I can find a snorkel for a '65 F-head? Any info would really help.

I have the same question for my 62 CJ-5. I have serched everywhere with no luck. I talked to a guy a few days ago that said to try an army surplus / salvage.

The air cleaner used in the M38A1s is whole different critter than CJ5 version. It's located on the passenger side of the engine near the snorkle cutout in the hood & has a fitting on it for the snorkle. The CJ5 oil bath filter doesn't have any provision for connecting a snorkle.

It should be easy e'nuff to build one out of some PVC pipe & a stock carb horn. Stick a cheapy airfilter on the top & you're in buisiness.

Of course, then there's the problem of waterproofing the ignition :).

Does anyone know where I can find a picture of one? I guess in my bent way of thinking "If it has a cut out I should be able to find a snorkel", Well I guess that just went down the drain. I would like to be able to fab one as close to original as possible if I could find a couple of pictures.
