M-416 parts needed

    I'm trying to find an axle dust cover (hub cap) for a 416 trailer rebuid.
    Thanks ahead of time...great site.

    Probably measure it and post up the OD of the cap. I suspect a dust cap from an early jeep dana 44 will fit.

    SMAJ,

    Try Memphis Military Truck Surplus. If you happen to know where I could lay my hands on the two different types retaining washers used to hold the hub / bearings on the axle for my M416 I'd appreciate you telling me.

    When I rebuilt my trailer the first time I found most of the parts through this guy:

    He had a buch of the small parts that I could not find anywhere else. As a matter of fact I needed the same dust cover that you are looking for and could not find it anywhere else, but he had it. That was about 8 years ago though, so I could not tell you what he may have now. Good guy with reasonable prices when I dealt with him.
