What's the diameter of a stock jeep tailight?

I bought some round trailer lights yesterday @ Walmart and intend to swap my current square trailer lights out for these round ones.

It should be closer to original but I was wondering how close.

These look pretty small. Something like 3-1/2" in diameter.

    Hey John,

My original "Hall" style tail lights were something like 4" diameter. The originals are larger than what you usually find in the Walmarts and stuff.

FWIW John - those are the same taillights that Walck's sells as "replacement" lights. I bought one set from him for the CJ and got a set from WalMart for the Bantam, and they were exactly the same.

Cool! Then I don't mind using them. At least they're round and will look closer to the originals.

The reverse lights I'm using are Autozone lights and even though they're not original they look pretty close and they're very bright.

Now I just need to get a correct set of the front turn signals.

I can get you the NOS Hall tail lights, but they are not cheap.
