When I looked at the Greenie buggy build on here I had to take a double take. I thought I was losing my mind for a minute and wasn't sure where I had seen it before. I've been to RiverRock about 10 times over the last four years and love the place. I've never been to Riverrock on an open weekend. Every time I've ever been has been on an exclusive weekend. I always try to get the cabins :D

I had posted some pics over in Flatty tech of her first wheeling experience, and the subsequent carnage. Heading over to Tampa in a minute to pick up the transfer case from the cryo shop. Then I'm putting in the Tera low kit from Herm. Hopefully she'll be back on the road next week and the transfer case will hold up. I've called Tri-county gear five times about their girdle and can't get a price or even someone to tell me if they have one in stock, so I guess I won't be adding that.

I also ordered the dual reservoir kit for the brakes because this thing won't stop.

Okay, couple of questions about brakes. I added Herm's dual MC kit for front disks and rear drums. I'm running a Dana 44 front and Dodge 9.25 rear. The back is 10 inch drums and the front is like 12 inch disks. All the lines, calipers, pads, wheel cylinders and all are new. The only thing that is old is the rotors and the rear drum itself. I am having a hard time stopping this thing. If it's in first and low, you will not stop it. There is about two inches in pedal play from the top of the pedal to where it just won't go anymore. I've checked all the clearances underneath and it's not hitting anything. Looks like to me the throw rod going into the MC only moves about an inch. I'm not sure how far it's supposed to go. I have no room to add a swinging pedal and vacuum assist or anything so I'm kind of stuck.

I'm thinking about moving the piece that the push rod that attaches to the pedal down about a half of an inch and see if that gives me more movement of the upper pedal and more leverage to push on it. What do you all think? The system is bled well, I'm not sure where to go from here.

    Thanks

Should I repost my question in Flatty Tech?

It sounds like you either need to adjust the rod out or get a longer rod to actuate the master cylinder. It should do better with more to push with. Also, make sure everything is bled properly (starting with the furthest from the MC and working your way around to the driver side front). Other than that, just check for a leak that might air in. I had some of the same issues with an s10 it turned out to be a T under the front cross member

I'm not running out of pedal, it's just getting hard and the brakes aren't super tight. I have bled the system, and all the lines are brand new (not that that means anything). I thought if I moved the pushrod down on the pedal it would give me more leverage and I could get the pushrod a little further into the MC.
