What would it take to build this?

On the model the wheels look like American Racing AR-23. I'm thinking 15x10 with 33x12.50 BFG Mud Terrains. And a 15x8 with a 33x10.50 for a spare. Probably the Black Diamond 3" lift. I have a Warn winch to put on. Only other thing would be paint and decals. Oh, and the helmet and gloves :)

Why, the model, it's real easy :D
It's an M38, but I guess you knew that :) I got one. If it articulated it would be (scaled down) as good as my FSJ.
Well, Jeep2003 here on the board, his Jeep looks like that.

    Andy,

I think I read you have the Black Diamond 3" lift, are you still happy with it? What size/backspacing are your wheels? Any trouble with the tires scrubbing?

    Thanks,
    David

I did some measuring and math, the model's tires would scale to 39x18!

Mine's a 2.5 inch superlift kit with con-ferr shackles that probably give it an extra .5-1 inch over stock, with 2 inch homebrewed body lift. 35" BFG mudders rub at full turn, but i can live with it. It won't be a problem when i find the time to do my axle swap (wider dana 44's from a 78 cherokee waiting in the garage). The main complaint people have about superlift is stiffness but i like that aspect of it. i'm hoping it will help for when i do my motor swap as well, since my new motor will be heavier than the L134.

    I've got a $10k budget.

I thought I had found a place to do the body work I need (passenger floor board and rocker needs to be replaced) and they told me they were booked up for a year. I'm not that patient.
