I hadnt tried that. I went and looked and found they had chrome lug nuts but it didnt specify on the website if they were right hand threaded or not. Maybee I should re-think this! Would they be left hand threaded for the drivers side? Either way if I did screw up it wouldnt be the first time. Looking for the reverse threaded chrome lug nuts if they make such a thing.

I don't quite follow. "Right" thread being righty-tighty?

Just change the studs. That's what I did. No more need to stop and wonder what direction to go. Now it's all the same, regardess of vehicle I driving that particular day.

Unless your studs have an "L" stamped/cast on them they are RIGHT hand thread.

to expound: left hand thread is typically called reverse thread, in some areas.

Left and right hand threads are defined by the shape of your hands. Hold either hand with the thumb up and rotate your fingertips toward your palm. That hand of thread will advance in the direction your thumb is pointing.

Sorry for the confusion. I am looking for reverse thread lug nuts (opposite of standard). Would like to leave the original style studs in on the drivers side of my Jeep as it is in stock form for all but wheels and a few small items.

If worse comes to worse, i would get new un chromed lug nuts and then send the out to be chromed. Should cost much at all since they are so small. nless you are looking for the aftermarket closed lug nuts, then that i am not sure, but they should be made since i dont think jeep is the only auto manufacturer that used reverse lugs nuts.
