    drexotic Happy now?!?!?

    Sweet lights . . .

What is their diameter and where did you find the chrome rings to match?

  2. sammy

    sammy Coca-Cola?

Probably the stock chrome rings with a custom mount, if I were to guess. I guess they're not street legal Jason? monkeys

No I doubt they are street legal. They are procomp H11 9" 55watt lights. The chrome rings are the stock ones.

55watt may very well be legal.
I have 130/90 watt in the little white jeep now, NOT street legal.........

Yes, I believe almost all "fog" and "driving" lights are 55 watt - and they are legal as that is what comes from the factory too.

Mounting them the way you did should light up the engine compartment a bit too. Looks like they are mounted a half-inch or so behind the grill.

yup they are mounted just a little behind the grill. Heres a link to the specs

I saw the pic of the dismantled GW but can't find what axles you ended up with. Did somebody say 44/20?

i was thinking of that same gears and locker setup when i swap in my 44's on my flattie... how do you like it?

I really like it. In 2wd with the 36s I can run 65-70 no problem, and on the trail with the T18 it is geared plenty low, at least for the muddy/rocky trails around here. I find my self using 2nd gear as much as 1st. But the 1st gear low range is pretty darn slow.

I'll be keeping the L134 and the T-90... should be interesting. Mind you it handles real well, but both my diffs are currently open. Does the spool make the tires chirp around corners on the street? I'm planning on keeping it registered for street use until the cops say otherwise. it's a 50% street 50% trail rig.

    yep, it'll chirp chirp...

yup it'll chirp. If it is honestly 50% trail I would either go with a spool or det...or a selectable if you have the money. But for the off road performance of a spool you cant beat it...esp cost wise :D

Stripped the new to me axle, started building the truss. Still have to finish up the pass side. The spring perch will but up against the end of the truss.

Well got the other half of the truss done. In case you were wondering its a PIA to pull the axles out of a axle that has a bent housing and twisted splines...luckily I got some new axles with the new housing..

Sooooooo note to self and everyone else, when you buy a replacement axle make sure its the same as the one you removed :( The new axle was 60"wms, and the old one was 53". Its actually going to work out alright, b/c before the old axle was a good bit narrower than the front, now the rear is a touch wider than the front. I'll prob get some wheel spacers to even the front up, but for now it should be fine

    Also installed a sound bar
