I am having a hard time getting my winshield to line up right again. Everything is mounted in the same holes it cam out of. The non existent hood blocks hit the glass. I cut some mock pieces out of 2x4. The latches on the dash are off by 3/4 inch. The only thing I can think of is I twisted the tub some how when I removed it and reinstalled with new mounting bushings.

I'll get some more pictures of the latches and the blocks after my one year olds birthday party.

    jpflat2a what's that noise?

you wouldn't happen to have the body mounted brackets for the w/s frame reversed, would you ?
seems to me they are handed, left and right

On my 2A, the centerline of the pivot bolt is even with the bottom edge of the hood. If you loosen up the screws that attach the hooks to the dash, you'll have about a 1/2" to 3/4" of adjustment up and down for the catches. Can you post a pic of the hood/windshield with the WS down?

Here come the pics. I didn't remove the mounts from the cowl. In fact I didn't even adjust them from where they were before. The catches worked before but I still had the problem with the blocks hitting the glass.

Here is how the frame lines up with the holes for the blocks. Is it supposed to hit the glass?

the frame needs to come back to meet the edge of the cowl at the dash
yours is too far forward in my opinion
if nothing changed, I have no explanation as to why

I think the tub must have tweaked when I installed the poly body mount bushings.

I am going to try adjusting to the opposite extreme and see what happens. I think it gets worse.

there is no way this windshieldcould land at the edge of the dash. Adjusted either way, it gets as close as 3/4" and that's it. I am going to pull the frame back off and lean on the "legs" a little.

Did you flip your adjustment brackets? Right now they are Top Front to Lower Back - Mine are Top Back to Lower front ( yours \ mine / ) - try swapping sides and see if it makes a difference before you tweek the bows.
