Been working on green jeep the last few weeks trying to get the suspension and frame issues wrapped up. Here are some progress pics from the back. The cross member was cobbled really bad by someone along the way. I did leave the barn door hinge that was used as a repair filler by someone also. I figure it adds some character.

I still have to put the receiver in the center. The receiver will go thru the 2X4 and be welded right to the 3" angle iron. The corners of the 3" angle will all be welded together and gusseted to the bumper. The tow points are bolted directly to the frame with a 3/4 grade 8 bolt. I am pretty sure I will rip the frame apart before I will hurt this bumper.

I also found that all of my body mount bushings are different lengths with all of the longest ones on the passanger side. There is as much as 1" different in height. It is fiberglass body. My plan is to pull them all out and either cut them to the height of the shortest one or replace them all. Not something I wanted to be doing this time around but it has to be addressed before I can attach my cage to the frame.
