I've got a 3 bolt saginaw steering box, but I'd like to find a 4 bolt.

I'm running the bone stock motor mounts and L4 motor.

Has anybody coupled a saginaw steering box to a stock column?:?

I have a narrowed scout 44 front and will have a simple steering linkage.

I'm open to most any suggestion. I'm an accoplished machinist and a new, but good fabricator/welder.

nothing wrong with a 3 bolt box, been running one for years
read thru this info and you will get the general idea.
you can modify your existing shaft/column, or install another of your choice.

yes, have attached steering shaft to stock column by cutting and attaching u-joint.

If you mean a manual box, there is no 4-bolt manual box for passenger car and light truck apps AFAIK. The power boxes come in 3 and 4 bolt types depending on app.

Check out http://www.postaljeep.net/ for a DJ-5 steering column and intermediate shaft. They can hook you up with anything you need. Might need to put an AA stub shaft on the box, and then mount the shaft to the DD adapter. Not too hard, talk to those guys, they will help you out.
