I have a 47' Willys. I took out the clutch. The origional T90 is bolted to a 231 Buick V6. I cant find a replacement pressure plate, disk, throw out bearing. The clutch disk is 9 1/2". Napa has tried and tried. Does anyone know a part # or anything I can use to track down this clutch? Thanks:flag:

IIRC 225 uses 9 1/2 inch clutch doesn't it. Your T90 will have the longer shaft in order for the 231 to bolt up which will be 1 1/8-10 spline which I believe is what the 225 had. I'd look for a listing for a 68 Jeep Commando and see if that gets you what you need.

I used a clutch disk and pressure plate out of a V-6 Chevy Monza. It even worked on 225 Buick motor and my Chevy V-6 motor. I also used it when I changed from the T-90 to the SM465. I think it is a 10"

are you absolutely sure you have a buick 231 in there? the reason i ask is a lot of people confuse the 225/231 for the 198. the 198 definetly has a 9.5" clutch disc. i don't know about the clutch size of the 225/231. it very well may have been offered with a 9.5" disc. but if not, i know for sure the 198 came with a 9.5" disc. you can tell a 198 from a 225/231 based on the bellhousing pattern. just a thought.

The clutch disk for the 225 in the jeep was a 10½" disk. The 9½" was offered in the cars.
