I need your guys help. When I picked up the newest Jeep, I missed a few parts from the hard top. The PO has graciously told me he will see if he can find the missing parts, but I don't know what they look like to describe them to him.

I am looking for some pics of the rear window support rods and brackets that hold the window open on a Meyers hard top circa mid '60's.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Jim I don't think I have a Meyer top, but may as well show a pic of the sliding mechanism:

There's one on each side. Once they stretch out, a small dial rotates and locks it out, keeping the window open.

Best I can tell is that my top came from Sears...who knows who really manufactured it tho. HTH

Funny, that looks exactly like a rail to rack mount a server.

I suspect that that's pretty close to what it's supposed to look like, because I have one of 4 rectangular pieces, and it looks just like part of the slider.

I wonder if a server rack slider would work :)

    THANKS!

I purchased some off ebay last spring, but haven't installed them yet to even know if they fit properly. In thread http://www.earlycj5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12150 I asked if they would likely fit, and Glenn responded "places that sell service type truck bodies should have them or something close enough in length to work", in case you need to find a source for them. If you need a pic of what I bought, just let me know.
