I have found what seems to be an old military trailer that I am going to try to pick up. It has the 4 tie downs on the side, has the reflectors and the e brake. It has the multi position spring hangers on it too. Th rear has been cut out as a tailgate. It has the round fenders. It is fairly straight, and as far as I can tell, minimal rust. Any idea what year it might be? Whats it worth? The last registration on it is from '88! Hopefully they will be motivated to sell it! Thanks!!

Here is what little I know--the extra holes on the front spriing hanger make it a Willys built trailer, as opposed to the bantam built which did not have the extra holes. Another indication is the Willys uses washers and cotter pins to hold on the shocks, while bantam used a nut. Round fenders and all sounds like a WWII vintage trailer. Look for a switch for blackout drive on the pass side front crossmember, kinda below the park brake mechanism. It was operated with a flat tip screwdriver.

Well, heard from the owner of the trailer today. He says he has no plans for it, but he will probably just let it sit for another 10 years! Isn't that amazing!? Oh well.
