Uh. No. I mean, I don't hate it as a thing, but everything in that description is non-sensical.

I want to like it, but it just looks awkward. The proportions are off somehow.

A solid effort id say. Even the fact thats its on a toyota isnt scaring me off. Id change the modern seats and dash but otherwise not terrible. The proportions are off. The back of the cab is too tall on top and not tall enough on the bottom it doesnt match the bed. A cj7 would look better with the square door openings. And cjs always look funny converted because the back corners are too rounded so the bed transition always looks wrong. Id make more of a stake bed like an fc or maybe bantam trailer or one from a willys truck but the smooth sides on that look ok. Making something from nothing like that look right is not an easy thing to do.

It's the weirdly slanted roofline that throws it off for me. CJ's are all straight and square lines (same reason I don't like fastback softtops).

The front bumper being flush with the grill and behind the leading edges of the fenders is odd too. Let that frame stick out and get a winch there.

Almost just coulda made a CJ6 halfcab.

Front clip is fiberglass too - no matter what the description says. I'd be curious to see how they got the inner fenders to clear the master cylinder as it swings down. I had that setup on CJ5 and had to put a hole in the inner fender.

It's actually just the doors that have that odd slope to them. Went to his website and watched the vid - got a better side angle view. Not sure what that top/door setup came from.

That rig has been on CL on and off for a year and 1/2. Too bad someone put so much effort into something not worth anywhere near that price.

So is there anything from a ‘48 Willys? The front part of the tub is a ‘63-older. Not much else is from a Jeep besides the tailgate.
