Timing Gear/chain Set Confusion

    ALSO, AND SUPER IMPORTANT! There are some aftermarket AMC sets where the oiling holes dont line up. And some where the radial oiling slots are WAY too deep and dump your pressure. Hazy memory, but do not neglect to research this particular issue. It's a really bad thing, and the guys at the AMC engine forum (can't remember which) have lots of threads on the subject.

    Yeah. Had a guy wanting to buy the SuperJeep unfinished as it sat for more money than I could refuse, but the deal was taking a while and I sensed he was having second thoughts. Yesterday I let him know he was not obligated and I would have no heartburn if he decided the not buy it. So now I'm back to fixing the Jeep.
