Best Place For Temp Gauge Sensor

    What is the best place to put the temp gauge sensor on a 1957 CJ5 engine? Thanks

    Mine is on the right side of the head near the aft end.

    X3 if talking f-134
    heater hose is the other hole in the top of the rear of the head.

    Yes it is a F134. Does anyone know the tread size for that port? Thanks

    It’s it ok to remove the heater hose? My heat exchanger was disconnected but a hose loops from the right top around the block. So I would remove the hose and block off the other end of the hose.

    I put pipe plugs in mine, removed the hoses.
