I need some help to determine what wheels came with the trailer
    One of these

    Two of these
They are narrow. all have 6.00x16 vintage tires on them.

No hub caps on military stuff.
    The tires would have been 7.00 x 16” NDT’s
The wheels would have been KH heavy duty 5” x 16”non creased disks and no hub caps.

So what do these wheels belong to?

Yep, has brakes so military. Someone butchered the lunette and casting sometime in its life though.

That would have to be a very vey small hubcap to work with those clips.
Without any knowledge or evidence to offer up, I say it's not a Jeep wheel.

    Update:
    Inside with top removed

The yellow in the sides is carpet adhesive.

The sides of this trailer are the straightest I have ever owned, one small dent on the right side. The rails are flat and square. Someone has added a flat floor, it is flanged and bolted in with sealer around the perimeter. Looking from underneath I can't see rust holes so far. I am considering leaving as is.

Some of the small diameter hubcaps I have seen have an inner ring of smaller diameter, though I can't say I have seen the inside of any early jeep hubcaps.
    Here's a picture of a Willys hubcap, says 6 3/4" mounting hole

Looking back I'm not sure why I went to such great lengths to replace my Bantam floor with a re-pop. A drop-in flat floor like you describe would have been cheaper, quicker, and hardly even seen. I either had the trailer full or had the tarp on.

The wheel without the clips looks like an early 1941 vintage 16"x4" that were also on some early CJ2 prototypes. I recently sold one that came from an early Bantam trailer.
If it has the square shoulders, they are rare. I was told they were factory wheels before the army required the change to the demountable combat wheels, and were use after the war as NOS wheels on some CJ2 prototypes.

Thanks for the information, how do i determine "square shoulders"?

    From the CJ-2A page

Actually that is not entirely correct. There were two military solid disc rims. One was the 4" which was also used on the CJ2's and a 4.5" military solid that the slat grill parts manual reads was used on the first 5 slat grills and where necessary and to be used w/ 6.5x16" tires. These 4.5" solids differ from the column shift solids in that the area where the inner tube sits has a 90 degree shoulder on both sides but a 4.5" civilian solid has a 90 on one side and a sloping 45 on the other. After the war the extra combats, not needed for jeeps, went on the civilian Bantam trailers and then both the Bantam trailers and the very earliest column shift jeeps used up the 4.5" military solid disc rim. Then the civi 4.5" solid was used along w/ the Motor Wheel rims then the standard 4.5" slotted Kelsey was used. So there are 4 civi rims as used on the CJ2A's, actually 5 because there was a 15" rim also but 4 were 16"

Are these the square shoulder wheels?

    Update on trailer Rims.
I finally got the old tires removed and this is what they are mounted to:
Any idea what they would have been used on? the hubcap diameter seems to be 6 inches.
    Looks like factory hubcap tabs.
Unusual color painted on the inside, a kind of mustard-tan color
