I damaged my rear crossmember on a few rock steps. So this is my repair/ reinforcement.

I couldn't straiten it on the frame so I cut it off. Notice the though bolt in front of the shackle? It's to keep my spring shackle from inverting on full drop.

Here's my fix. I have it strait. Now to install a Channel Sleeve.

    Fit test with plug welds.

Finished welding and finishing with Weld Though Primer.

Fit testing the sleeve onto existing frame and butting it up to the frame rail.

This is of today. Welded it into place. It was hot in the garage today. So I couldn't work long. This is how far I got.
