Windshield seal

    I have a '69 CJ5 with the larger glass windshield and I need to replace the glass and the seal.

    All of the parts companies seem to lump the seals into two catagories, '51-'75 and '76-'86. My '68 has the smaller windshield and I don't see how a seal for that windshield will work for the larger glass one.

    Should I order the seal for the '76-'86 to fit the larger glass?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    I just had SSDutch's w/s done with the "early" seal on a intermediate w/s. No problems.

    If you are taking it to an installer, they can get a seal cheap and you wont have to worry about it. That's what I did.

    I have an inermediate windshield and it fit perfectly. I think they just make them with a little extra length.
