Bestop Supertop Door Hinge Location?

So is this where the hinges are supposed to be? I’ve seen them both here and on the the inner sill of the door jam.
*For a bestop supertop

 

Mine are in the jamb with the curled part forward

 

Mine are also mounted inside the jamb:

 

Mine are also mounted on the inside of the jamb.

 

Heres where how i mounted mine. Probably not the best way but works for me i hardly run my doors.

I should’ve looked at the instructions first!! Duhhh!!!
Thanks all for the input. I figured that they were in the wrong spot the guy who had this before me was a bit of a knucklehead
