ok I was installing a oil pressure gauge. So I removed the alternator to get better access to install oil pressure line.So here is the stupid part I forgot to disconnect battery when I moved the alternator the posts on the back touched the valve cover and sparked. Now I don't have lights and nothing when I turn on the ignition switch. Are there any hidden fuses?I found a couple but they are good.I have a FSM but wiring diagram small and hard to follow. Is there a flow chart that I could follow the 12 volt path from the battery?Or did I fry something?Forgot to add I have the stock Motorola alternator. Thanks

I'd check the wires at the starter solenoid. There maybe fusible links in the harness. pull on the wires, rubber bands are bad. Head lights are normally straight battery feed, inspect battery connections, Ron

Wanted to thank all for the help.Went out to jeep this morning to start troubleshooting.Hooked up the battery and I tried the lights they came on then turned the ignition and it had power.looks like where the power comes in and hooks to the light switch there is a circuit breaker. Thanks

Yes, the back of the light switch usually has either a fuse or a circuit breaker for the lighting circuit.
